Advantage Asset Management ("AAM") is in need of a full time skilled and hard-working Maintenance Technician/Handyman to assist with inspecting, maintaining, and repairing both residential homes and some small commercial properties.

This position will work with other vendors from time to time to accomplish large projects, but majority of the work will be solo. The role will conduct inspection walkthroughs, help with the "make ready" process before a new tenant moves in, and perform handyman services/odd jobs while properties are occupied.

This is a key position for the company and will require someone who is flexible but accountable.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• Experience in carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, minor electrical and plumbing
• Demonstrated record of working safely and commitment to zero-injury culture
• Own truck/van and standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades
• Ability to use app on phone for closing work orders, taking pictures, inspections, etc.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work at small heights and lift 50 lbs. overhead
• Residence within Montgomery County, TX or nearby suburbs
• Ability to pass a background check
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Experience with HVAC maintenance is a plus
