Maintenance Technician
Aquatic develops, manufactures and markets fiberglass and acrylic hot tubs, whirlpools, bathtubs and showers. The Maintenance Technician’s main responsibilities are Safety and Productivity (limiting downtime to the lowest level possible). This individual is expected to be a "team player" and exhibit cooperation and excellent interpersonal skills. A firm knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair are critical in this position as it is a production line environment, which must remain running the entire shift.
Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions:
· Maintain safe working environment and reporting hazardous conditions to lead man or supervisor
· Responsible for production line and all ancillary equipment.
· Start-up/shut-down procedures.
· Preventive maintenance- line running and line down scenarios.
· Critical thinking to understand and prioritize all down equipment repairs.
· Perform other duties, as directed and be receptive to being trained and sharing knowledge.
· Maintain supply of spare parts and rebuild back-ups for quick change-out.
· Bring suggestions and solutions for building a better team.
· Be prompt, be professional, be courteous.
Qualifications and Skills:
Quality oriented, must keep good written records of service data
Technically competent on shop equipment and tools
Must be adequate in the English language
Education: High School Diploma; (GED).
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in maintenance and facilities (Mechanical & Electrical key).
