Team Embrey is seeking a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to support our Property Management team.
As a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, you will maintain buildings and ancillary/amenity areas along with assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in the operations of the Maintenance Department and meeting the needs of our residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Implement preventative maintenance, safety, and good housekeeping practices.
- Inspect and maintain the property, buildings, and equipment.
- Organize, prioritize, and promptly complete unit make-readies, service requests, and general maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the grounds, buildings, and units are fully functional, safe, and attractive.
- Perform minor repairs on units' appliances, floors, walls, cabinets, doors, and fixtures.
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing safety and protective clothing.
- Maintain inventories of supplies, tools, and equipment needed for repairs.
Qualifications
- One-year maintenance experience in property management or a related field
- Possession of minimum tools required
- Ability to be available “on call” 24 hours, seven days a week
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
Required Testing
- Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, MVR
Position type: hourly, full-time with competitive pay & benefits (including healthcare & 401k); Position location: San Antonio; Reporting: direct to Maintenance Supervisor.
