Objective: Works within maintenance team to maintain and repair production equipment. Also, when assigned will perform tasks related to upkeep of the physical facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists in moving, erecting, and dismantling machinery and equipment.
• Constructs or assembles bins, racks, shelves, pallets, parts for worktables, benches, and other furnishings.
• Conducts facilities repairs and maintenance within scope of skill and certification including but not limited to roofs, HVAC, doors, windows, gutters, floors, painting, etc.
• Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.
• Practices good housekeeping and safety procedures and adheres to all company policies.
• Contacts vendors and outside contractors for help on some projects.
• Maintains company vehicles, forklifts, and man-lifts.
• Occasionally works outside to remove ice and snow form sidewalks and parking areas.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Knowledge of basic electricity and ability to read schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot various mechanical issues.
• Knowledge on use of mechanical hand tools such as saws, hammers, drills, etc.
• Knowledge on applications on use of voltmeters and amp meters.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lean and reach, climb ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, work in confined spaces, etc
• Good understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to log and record various repairs and inspections.
• Able to safely operate company forklifts, man-lifts, and vehicles.

Education and/or Experience:

• HS Diploma (or equivalent)
• 3 years experience performing machine and / or facility maintenance

Pay: $15.48 - $29.35 per hour
