Job Description:

• GMP Operations manages a pilot plant operation in a GMP environment which manufactures/packages products for clinical studies.
• The position is to support preventive maintenance, set-up, and operation of processing/packaging equipment along with troubleshooting issues.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preventive maintenance of processing/packaging equipment using standard templates as per schedule
• Purchase materials for the department
• Unpack and start up new equipment
• Set-up processing and packaging equipment for running batches and disassemble equipment for cleaning
• Troubleshooting equipment issues
• Operate equipment during processing and packaging
• Documenting work using good documentation practices
• Other GMP document work as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

Education Requirement(s):

• High school minimum

Skill & Competency Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years mechanical experience with processing equipment
• Familiar with working in a GMP environment and using Good Documentation Practices

Preferences:

• Skills in MS Word to include formatting, paragraph options, and tables
• Some Excel experience
• Experience with data entry into database
• Experience with operating processing equipment (examples: tablet presses, bin blenders, coating machine, fluid bed drying, etc)
