The Manager of Data Architecture leads a team of dedicated data architects, to design, build and maintain the enterprise-wide data platform from which custom reporting and self-service solutions are developed. The team also designs, develops, delivers, and maintains tools that ingest and integrate data sources to enable analysis of subject areas, activities, and processes to enable accurate data driven decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Forming tight partnerships with Marketing, Finance, Sales, Content, and special projects teams to achieve the designing and delivery of tools and models to provide ongoing insights solutions focused on effectiveness and predictability.
• Researching and understanding the latest technologies and methods that best fit solutions and organizational product/development needs.
• Developing Proof of Concept solutions to effectively showcase new data technologies.
• Drafting architectural diagrams spanning not only data stores but the integration to applications.
• Proposing, designing, and instructing the development of data solutions, and self-service analytics portals for cross functional partners.
• Collaborating with Data Governance specialists to create and enforce data quality via identified gaps in data.
• Managing, mentoring, coaching a team of Architects.
• Other duties as assigned.

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

• 5+ years developing Data & Analtyics Solutions
• Exceptional presentation skills at the C-Suite level
• Solid experience delivering insights using industry standard visualization tools
• Proven strategic thought leader
• Highly analytical approach to defining desired outcomes and articulating value
• Ability to use facts and data to tell a story that leads to margin-expansion strategies
• Ability to inspire direct and indirect team members to rally behind the strategy
• Proven ability of working under pressure with resilience and tenacity
• Proven ability to be a proactive leader
• Proven ablitity to deliver solid solutions on time
• Experience with Business Intelligence, Power BI, Azure, SQL, Synapse
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, or related field or 10+ years’ experience in field
• The ability to proactively communicates successes, opportunities to internal leadership
• Capable of communicating key results of high-level analytics at the leadership level for the commercial organization
• Strong big-data aptitude towards OKRs and KPIs
• The ability to continuously drive innovation
• Can drive end-to-end implementation services organization, from the intake to delivery to maintenance.
• Strong Understanding of Azure, Azure Tools and Synapse

IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:

• Power BI development
• Python, SAS or equivalent
• Master’s degree in data science, Mathematics, or related field
