Hourly Wage:
Salery Wage range: $65,000- 70,000 (based on experience and credentials) - range includes night shift differential.
Work Schedule (Central):
5 X 8 hour shifts each week, remote.
Requirements for work from home include:
- Must have a HIPAA compliant workspace that is free from unauthorized viewing.
- Must meet IT requirements that meet company standards.
- Accommodating space for workstation requirements in 6ft x 6ft space.
- Must have reliable internet service that can be upgraded to meet or exceed company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing the latest secure technology, monitor AVEEG, ICU and EMU patients with a patient: tech ratio of no more than 12:1
- Reviews EEG and video data incorporating knowledge of normal and abnormal EEG patterns and clinical correlates
- Ensure patient safety and EEG quality through communication with hospital staff, caregivers, on-call technologists and other team members
- For in-home patients, supervises tech observers, conducts impedance checks and video verification, EEG scanning and patient communication
- Create interim status and final EEG reports
- Performs any other related duties consistent with patient and technical care
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of EEG, normal and abnormal EEG patterns, epilepsy and seizure patterns, understands clinical correlates.
- Recognizes artifacts, familiar with use of montages, filters and recording concepts.
- Is familiar with different types of recording EEG equipment operations.
- Knows ACNS guidelines and nomenclature for cEEG and critical care.
- R. EEG T. credentials (required)
- CLTM credentials preferred, but not required.
- Has work experience of 3 years minimum in hospital ICU/EMU, 5 years’ experience as an END.
- Achieves at least 10 ACE hours per year.
- Working knowledge of computers, technology and various types of EEG recording. equipment including the ability troubleshoot equipment.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
