Open since late 2018, Glass2Grass offers a large variety of products for everyone’s smoking and glass art needs. Glass2Grass is looking for someone who is energetic, talented, and junior/mid-level/experienced to join our team.

General Manager Job Summary
Plans, directs, or coordinates company operations. Must be able to work both remotely AND in-person at our physical store/gallery location.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews financial statements, sales reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
  • Directs and coordinates activities concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
  • Directs administrative activities concerning product production or services.
  • Prepares staff work schedules and assigns specific duties.
  • Monitors suppliers to ensure goods or services are provided within budgetary limits.
  • Directs or coordinates budgets to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
  • Establishes or implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures.
  • Plans or directs activities such as sales promotions.
  • Sets prices for goods or services based on forecasts of customer demand.
  • Manages the movement of goods into and out of production facilities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Retail and Marketing Manager Job Summary
Plans, directs, or coordinates marketing policies and programs. Directly supervises and coordinates activities of retail sales workers. Must be able to work both remotely AND in-person at our physical store/gallery location.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Monitors customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Directs and coordinates activities involving sales of manufactured products, services, commodities, real estate or other subjects of sale.
  • Determines price schedules and discount rates.
  • Reviews operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
  • Directs, coordinates, and reviews activities in sales and service accounting and record keeping, and in receiving and shipping operations.
  • Advises dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
  • Prepares budgets and approves budget expenditures.
  • Represents the Company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Plans and directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 21+ in age
  • Fluency in English
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Proficient with using consumer electronics
  • Proficient with social media, including Instagram and Facebook
  • Be physically able to lift 50 lbs
  • Have reliable transportation and be able to travel to different local locations
  • Evening and Weekend availability

Required Experience

  • 3-7 years of related experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Retail and/or Sales: 1 year
  • Social Media: 1 year

Preferred Experiences and Skills

  • Smoke shop: 1-2 years
  • Art galleries: 1 year
  • Experience in Public Relations
  • Experience in copywriting & creative writing
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Twitter, misc.

Required Education

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field (preferred)
