Manager, Social Media & Content Job at Kum & Go

This position will work in a hybrid environment with a blend of remote days and in-office days. This is not a fully remote position.

Calling all creatives! Kum & Go is searching for a talented and innovative Manager, Social Media & Content to lead all social media activity. As a social media leader, with a penchant for copywriting and design, you’ll lead content creation and visual design execution for Kum & Go. You’ll bring your passion for social media strategy and support it through your focus on executing the strategy across existing and emerging social media platforms ensuring Kum & Go presents a consistent voice and engagement approach.

Tap into your leadership side to oversee design concepting and execution for external advertising, &Rewards loyalty communications, store signage, and other forms of brand messaging. You’ll use your attention to detail to manage a multi-faceted creative calendar and bring your ability to lead creative brand activations, vendor partnerships/collaborations, and piece together how Kum & Go shows up consistently across all channels.

What you’ll do

  • Lead cross platform organic and paid social media strategy and community management strategy

  • Oversee social reporting and listening

  • Lead content development and team of social content creators

  • Lead overall content strategy and development in-line with interactive marketing calendar

  • Identify ways to incorporate the Kum & Go brand into various content channels

  • Work cross-functionally to creative immersive customer content for use in paid and owned channels

  • Copywrite for key customer facing content

  • Agency management for social content and creative concept design

  • Create and manage an internal design hub using standard processes to concept new creative, test ideas, and formalize use of brand around the organization

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated ability to create content for corporate organizations

  • Content writing and social media management experience

  • Ability to report and explain Kum & Go’s social media content to senior leadership

  • Ability and desire to develop creative teams, provide feedback, and mentor

  • Desire to continue to expand Kum & Go’s creative capabilities

Other key requirements

  • Experience with social media management - bonus if for a corporate organization

  • Experience in creative design management work for B2C brands

  • Copywriting experience

  • Relocation to the Des Moines, IA area is required
