Summary :

The Content Specialist supports NHA’s marketing efforts through website content management. This includes posting copy, images, photos, and documents on the websites, as well as adding featured articles and other relevant content using the content management software. This individual also provides support for NHA’s Parent Portal. The Content Specialist works closely with other marketing and NHA team members to ensure NHA’s websites are accurate, compliant, and provide the most compelling content for both current and prospective families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports school and corporate needs by updating/maintaining website content and ensuring accurate and error free publishing.
  • Performs regular quality audits of the websites and suggests or implements updates as necessary.
  • Coordinates the publishing of compliance content on websites in coordination with various departments.
  • Measures website accessibility, identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes.
  • Creates and updates documentation for the content specialist processes and procedures.
  • Collaborates on the content calendar and facilitates the implementation for all websites.
  • Leads the school survey process to gather and aggregate schools’ content regarding strategic differentiators, school offerings, school hours, etc.
  • Assists website team lead with change management throughout NHA for new website and portal features, often including documentation, training, or videos.
  • System bug documentation, reporting, and troubleshooting for websites and Parent Portal.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail is essential to perform the duties of this position.
  • Must be organized, and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Willing to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 1-2+ years of website content creation or management experience is preferred.

Education/License/Experience Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Communications preferred.

The employee is required to hear from a distance and to identify voices and understand communication with background noise. This position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
