POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):

We are on a mission to grow the most Iconic Japanese Sport style brand in North America. We are looking for a part time junior level Marketing and PR coordinator to help us continue to grow our marketing and PR programs in North America.


Reporting directly to the General Manager of North America, the coordinator will work closely with the entire North America office team and store teams to assist in all things marketing and PR related. She/he will in conjunction with the General Manager help coordinate Public Relations, Influencer relationships, Social Media, Advertising and external vendor relationship management. The ability to travel occasionally is preferable but not required.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage press releases to USA third party agencies. and adjust available samples on the press site.
  • Manage all Marketing recap reports for Japan HQ, weekly, monthly and any ad hoc recaps.
  • Assist with the management of samples for press.
  • Assist in all influencer seeding and coordination of sample returns.
  • Attend all marketing related meetings with the North American team as the schedule allows.
  • Attend the monthly Japan HQ meeting as schedule allows.
  • Assist with in store events and store PR coordination.
  • Assist with all third-party vendor relationships.
  • Assist in marketing budget recap meetings as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • General knowledge of marketing and PR principles, as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to add insights into marketing actions and recommendations
  • Must be results-oriented, organized, demonstrating the ability to think agilely.
  • Must have a general understand of the current social media landscape and applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years experience in Public Relations preferred.
  • Marketing, Business, or Advertising course work and or experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience or knowledge of Microsoft 365
