Marketing Coordinator - Beauport Hospitality Group Job at Beauport Hotel Gloucester
The Marketing Coordinator for Beauport Hospitality Group is primarily responsible for social media content creation and execution across Beauport Hospitality Group’s properties: Beauport Hotel Gloucester, 1606 Restaurant & Oyster Bar, Seaport Grille, Rail Stop Restaurant & Bar, Beauport Cruiselines, and Cruiseport Gloucester. The Marketing Coordinator will also support with various campaigns and projects, including marketing collateral design, production and distribution, menu production, promotion, and campaign implementation and internal/employee communication initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Produce and manage daily social media content for Beauport Hospitality Group properties, utilizing current and emerging social media channels and formats, including newsfeed posts, stories, reels,
photo and video. - Provide social media live "story" coverage of daily property happenings, events and menu specials.
- Produce social and creative content for BHG internal communications and social media channels including the Beauport Clubhouse site, Employee Facebook Group, Instagram account, LinkedIn and associated channels.
- Provide email marketing support and database management, to include creating artwork, drafting campaigns, managing customer lists in database and supporting the operation.
- Maintain third party, online channels various properties, with ongoing updates of packages, events, specials, promotions and any necessary changes of menus, hours, policies and pertinent guest information. Ensure all channel messaging is accurate, while continually sweeping Channels weekly.
- Support all properties with print collateral needs and distribution, updating weekly or as necessary, to include distribution for any community locations.
- Support menu production and rollouts including design and content updates, off-site print production and in-house printing.
- Organize photography and collateral assets in employee file systems to ensure all collateral is archived, current and available for reference.
- Complete other department projects as assigned by the Senior Marketing Manager.
Experience and Skills:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to creatively communicate visually.
- Passion for social media content, creation, and engagement.
- Advanced photography skills, experience shooting food, beverage and products.
- Ability to extract relevant insights from social media data to communicate results and refine strategies.
- Must be self-directed, motivated and a continuous learner of social media best practices and trends.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
- Strong eye for graphic design and effective branding for marketing collateral production and social media asset creation.
- Demonstrated ability to work with maximum efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively use MS Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency in proofreading and editing materials.
- Must have strong verbal, written and grammatical skills.
- Ability to present information and ideas logically and clearly; keen eye for detail required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to provide live social media coverage for events and property happenings. Schedule will vary week to week and flexibility is essential.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Work will primarily take place in the Beauport Hotel, to include movement throughout all properties.
- Group and solo work.
- Remote work is not permitted.
