Marketing Director
Forward Financial Group is a locally owned, fiduciary based, financial planning group that works with families and small businesses to help them more efficiently achieve their long term financial goals. The marketing director role will be responsible for efficiently coordinating the team's marketing procedures and social media presence. In the past this role has been a part time role but we would consider shifting this position to a full time role if we hired the right person with adequate experience.
In addition to this, the position includes the following roles and expectations:
Roles/Duties
- Take ownership of and oversee the team's marketing efforts
- Organize and implement a system to conduct efficient outreach to all clients and potential prospects
- Track completion towards team goals and assist advisors in making progress towards achieving individual goals
- Organize the planning and execution of 3-4 client events every year
- Create and implement a social media strategy for the team and individual team members
- Organize a system to submit all marketing materials to compliance
- Keep our website up to date and make any changes as necessary
- Utilize graphic design tools to create invites to events and material for client newsletters
- Assist with the creation of short videos for marketing purposes
- Be familiar with programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Youtube, Redtail, Canva, Hootsuite and Constant Contact to execute marketing plans
- Other duties as assigned
Professional Expectations
- Our ideal candidate has either client facing and/or client service experience
- Any type of marketing/financial background is a plus but not required
- Someone who wants to grow and be part of the team
- Bring positive energy to the team and be a team player at all times
- Be self-motivated and willing to adapt and change to the needs of the team
- Successfully communicate with all clients and members of the team
- Must be organized and pay attention to detail
- Be willing to give open feedback to improve the efficiency of the team
- Be available at least 15 hours a week and be able to work at least some hours in the office with the team during the week (M-F, 8:30am-3pm)
