M&S Engineering, LLC seeks qualified candidates for the position of Marketing Representative to work out of our Spring Branch, Texas location. We are looking for someone who is creative and passionate about telling stories. We need someone to help us showcase our company through written and visual mediums. This person will be responsible for generating and managing content for our social media platforms, website, and newsletters. In addition to those responsibilities, this person will help generate new marketing initiatives, assist in attending conferences and trade events when necessary, and assist the business development team with growing revenue and margin to meet the firm’s growth initiatives. This position reports to, and operates under the direction of, the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Create and publish marketing material in line with marketing plans using multiple approaches (print, website, social media, etc).
• Coordinate marketing campaigns with ownership, business development, and human resources.
• Update and maintain the company website and social media platforms through regular content generation, reviews, and updates.
• Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
• Constantly generate and provide original and creative ideas to market the company brand and expertise.
• Plan and implement promotional campaigns to achieve sales goals.
• Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
• Prepare presentations and materials for client interviews, speaking opportunities, and other engagements.
• Assist in event planning for conferences, professional association events, and company events.
• Attend and represent the firm at industry and trade conferences, as well as, community events.
• Assist human resources with developing materials and social media content for career fairs and company recruiting efforts.
• Take video and pictures to document finished projects, company parties, events, and anything newsworthy.
• Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required.
• 1-3 years of related experience in marketing or related field preferred. (within A/E/C industry beneficial)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Must have an intimate understanding of storytelling and social media trends.
• Must be able to provide examples of social media proficiency and ability to create content.
• Experience producing and generating video interviews of individuals.
• Ability to demonstrate video production capabilities.
• Able to handle multiple time-sensitive requests.
• Strong desktop publishing skills will be required for the creative layout of marketing materials and qualification submittals.
• Demonstrated skills for updating and maintaining website and social media platforms.
• Confident personality with the ability to think strategically and help teams develop sound marketing, pursuit, and proposal strategies.
• Able to execute proposals and other assignments independently with minimal supervision.
• Desire to work and thrive in an innovative, flexible team environment.
• Must pass a background and drug screen, post offer.
• Ability to travel to various destinations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
