Marketing Strategist - Social Media Job at Steamroller Animation
The Steamroller Animation Marketing Strategist is responsible for creating and disseminating creative content that helps to elevate the studio in various market segments including potential new service clients, consumers of our IP, constituents, candidates to consider for hiring, and the local community. This is a full-time position that can be remote, hybrid, or on-site.
Responsibilities
Creates, edits, and seeks approval on social media content and campaigns.
Schedules and monitors social media posts for interactivity.
As requested, provide media to company attendees of trade shows and local events. Additionally, capture and organize media of the company’s presence at trade shows/local events for publicity purposes.
Comments and engages audiences promptly.
Seeks new content from team members.
Keeps up to date with industry trends in order to influence thoughtful leadership content internally.
Interviews team members and synthesizes content for social distribution.
Assists with production diary and blog posting on the studio website.
Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of marketing strategies and present reporting to Studio leadership.
Organize and conduct professional, informational interviews of internal staff for publicity purposes.
Requirements
Excellent journalistic writing and composition ability with skillful English grammar.
Working knowledge of major social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, and other channels that may be applicable.
Minor graphic creation skills (Adobe Spark, Canva, Photoshop).
Image/Photo editing skills in Photoshop.
Understanding of KPIs with the ability to analyze data and communicate interpretation effectively.
Ability to create, edit and publish Blog articles
Should be nimble, reliable, a self-starter, and collaborative with others.
Close attention to detail.
Constantly seeks opportunities to improve.
Creative and seeks new ways to reach audiences.
At least 3 years of social media marketing experience.
College degree in marketing/communications preferred.
Knowledge of the craft of animation is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Handling/grasping documents or office equipment.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Clear speaking and adequate hearing, sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in person and/or on the telephone.
Vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data.
Repetitive motions for computer equipment use.
Work is to be performed primarily in an office/home-office environment using standard office equipment.
While not guaranteed, some day-to-day activities may involve bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and/or below the shoulder, and/or lifting/carrying/moving work-related equipment.
