HOAMT is a multidisciplinary holistic wellness center that practices the 4 pillars of East Asian Medicine as well as many other holistic modalities.
Our mission is to modernize and mainstream holistic medicine, bridge the gap between eastern and western medicine, and give people a choice when it comes to healthcare.
We are in need of career massage therapists that can help us with maintaining that mission and that can work alongside our acupuncturists. We want someone that is looking to grow and advance within our team, and potentially own their own location one day and/or potentially take on a manager role in the future.
Our vision is to create confident, successful Acupuncturists and Massage Therapists that are well rounded in Skill, Compassion, and ability to Educate others, so that they are able to continue on with the legacy of the true nature of Chinese and holistic medicine. Days looking for:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 2:30-9, Saturdays 8:30-3
(Hours can be flexible but these days/times are preferred.)
Pay is based on percentage of insurance or self pay rates ranging from 30-50% of rates received based on your experience. Rate will be determined and an offer letter will be executed after a formal review.
Pay ranges from $40-$200/ hour for contact hours
Minimum rate is $16.10/ hour for non contact hours, meaning you get paid even if you are not booked- but we will have no problem filling your schedule.
The majority of our patients are insurance based

Levels of HOAMT Massage therapists Experience and Competence
(Level 1)Novice: 0-1 years experience, Pay: 30% compensation
No experience of situations in which expected to perform .. Can take in little of the situation which is new and strange
Governed by context-free rules (in order to enter situations to gain experience) little understanding on contextual meaning of textbook concepts
Extremely limited and inflexible
Requires support in clinical practice from someone at least “competent” level (level 3)
Most new grads are here. Not a lot of confidence with recommending a protocol
(Level 2)Advanced Beginner: 3 months-2 years experience 33% compensation
Limited experience of situations in which expected to perform
Recognizes overal , global characteristics of situations that can only be identified through prior experience
Requires support in clinical practice from someone at least at competent level
Has been with the company for over a year and has some knowledge of continuing education
(Level 3)Competent: 2-3 Years experience 36% compensation
On job with some or similar situations for min 2-3 years
A plan for work/care establishes only a perspective, not rigid rules to follow..but is most organized and efficient with conscious deliberate planning
Recognizes contextual aspects of situations
Has a feeling of mastery and ability to manage

Started studying and Training in Coaching, and Practice Management training

(Level 4) Proficient: 3-6 years experience 40% compensation

Knows how to Facilitate and Lead the rounds, knows the right questions to ask and recommendations to adjust to.
Ability to teach and lead other acupuncturists with problem solving
Accurately Performs SOPS
Capable of Problem solving and knowing when to pivot from a patient's protocol
Can manage a team and Lead.
Training to become Eligible to Run and Maintain a Practice as a Clinical Director
(Level 5) Expert: 6-10 or more years of experience in ....enormous background of experience. 50 % compensation
Operates from a deep understanding of total situation as a contextual whole without relying on rules, guidelines, maxims
Intuitive grasp of situation: rapidly zerios in on accurate regions of problems without wasting time/energy considering large range of options
Performs with great flexibility
Able to oversee and make decisions regarding protocols and patient plans
Can manage a team and run rounds
Expert at practice management and following through with patient protocols
If fully trained in all modalities within the practice.
Has maintained at 80% retention rate of Practice Management skills
Sees Patients Protocols to the end.
(Level 6) Clinical Director 6 or more years: 50 % of insurance+self pay people
Manages the office and Therapists Staff, Communicates with office manager and staff
Knows both the front end office tasks as well as the therapists tasks
Can coach, speak and educate both patients and employees with ease
Can develop and implement protocols needed in the office to problem solve a situation
Has knowledge, training and degrees in ALL aspects of the therapist and the front staff. Knows how to motivate a team
Brings things to the attention of the CEO
(Level 7): Partner 6 or more years : percentage of pay of the entire practice
Capable of running and opening a practice, knows the ins and outs of every system and communications within the office.
