Material Handler 1st Shift Job at Dixon Valve & Coupling Company LLC
We are looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Dallas, NC! This person would need to be able to assist with the operations of multi-spindle screw machines by making hourly rounds to pick up machined parts at the end of the machines, switch out chip bowls, and collect machining scrap at the end of the shift. This person will operate the Barrett Spinner, steel intersource, brass intersource and Durr parts washer. This person may also assist with basic cleanouts of machines and other duties as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with employees on manufacturing floor
- Keep work area and equipment clean and organized
- Work safely around equipment and coworkers
- Lift 70 pounds over the course of a shift
- Operate a forklift
- Complete other tasks as assigned
