Material Handler Job at Frank Calandra Jennmar Services
Leading manufacturer is seeking to fill entry-level Material Handler positions for it's XCal Tools-Madisonville, KY plant. Responsibilities include loading/unloading raw steel materials and finished products including banding and palletizing; assisting on the production lines as assigned; perform maintenance helper and other general labor actions as assigned.
- Team mentality with ability to follow safety and quality procedures
- Dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work flexible schedule of 40+ hours per week as required
- Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards
- Load and unload packages
- Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, etc.
- Receive and check incoming pick tickets
- Pull material to fulfil orders properly
- Wrap orders and place them on trucks for delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
- Document orders, materials and any stock movements
- Near/far vision; total visual field; repetitive sitting, standing, walking, driving, and/or bending; heavy lifting (up to 65lbs) capability; multiple limb coordination.
