Valencia Collegeis now hiring a part-time Instructor of Industrial Automation Technician (Mechatronics) to join the Continuing Education, Advanced Manufacturing team of the West campus.

In this role, the P/T Instructor applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to design and implement projects that support the work of the department in Construction. You will be responsible for delivering the necessary content for teaching students how to perform Industrial Automation (Mechatronics) to meet real world outcomes & enhance development of the hands-on skills necessary for job placement. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the following areas: 7 Mechanical Principles to include belt drives, chain drives, gear drives and couplings; Industrial Maintenance Principles to include Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance and Autonomous Maintenance; Hydraulics and Pneumatics Principles, including troubleshooting; Industrial Electrical Principles, including troubleshooting. Preferred candidate will also possess: Certification in Mechanical Systems; Certification in Maintenance Operations; Certification in Fluid power (Hydraulics &Pneumatics); Certification in Industrial Electricity.

Approved Posted Salary: starting at $31.20/hourly (based on experience)
