Meck Pre-K Assistant Teacher!!!

*The Learning Tree Academy is a preschool that services Children from the ages 1Yr. to 10. The Learning Tree also believes that the early education experiences of our children are extremely important to their lives.

The Learning Tree Academy is urgently looking for a Full-Time Assistant Teacher for our MECK PRE-K CLASS!

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

Develop weekly activity plans; to be skilled with using the Teaching Strategies of GOLD. Provide a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate classroom that encourages and reflects children’s learning and growth.

Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents/caregivers to discuss children’s progress, needs, and interests. Prepare developmental progress reports as needed.

Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records required by Meck Pre-K Program daily, weekly, and monthly as required by the Center and/or State regulations.

Participate in on-going educational online development training provided and/or required by the Meck PreK county Program.

In accordance with “team” spirit, work together with all staff members to promote a positive, enriching, and healthy work environment.

Education/Experience Requirements:

* ASSOCIATES Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and 21 credit hours in Early Childhood. 3+ years of teaching experience in a (licensed childcare facility), (Prefer experience with a Pre-K-site)
