Hegira Health, Inc. has been a leading provider of behavioral health services across the metropolitan Detroit area since 1971. Licensed by the state of Michigan and accredited by the Joint Commission.

The Med Drop Drivers are responsible for the community based delivery of the medications and observing the client self-administer medication. Deliveries occur seven days a week. Shifts are either morning (8:00 - 1:00) or afternoon (4:00 - 8:00). Days are flexible. Great for people looking for regular part-time work i.e., students, retirees, people seeking supplemental work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year healthcare office experience
• Good driving record (no transporting of patients)
• Valid State of Michigan Driver's License and access to a vehicle to use for agency business

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Observe the client self-administering his/her medications as prescribed.
• Complete the appropriate documentation.
• Responsible for assessing any visible, or client reported, changes in mood, behavior, or appearance; and reporting these changes back to the MDS Coordinator.
• Communicate to MDS Coordinator/Pharmacy Staff any client’s concerns regarding the medications.
• Safeguard and store the medications.
• Interact with the clients in a kind, professional manner and assists the client in attaining his/her treatment goals.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour

NOTE: Candidates hired must be COVID vaccinated or request a religious or medical waiver.
