Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team. This position requires a self-starter with the ability to take initiative, strong computer skills, the ability to multi-task, and critical thinking skills. You will be working with one of the providers and supporting the others when needed. If you like working in a place where you don't watch the clock to go home this is the place for you.
Monday Through Friday Shifts Available
Our LPN/MAs are required to perform:
- Blood Draws, Injections
- Centrifuge blood before sending to the lab
- Collect accurate patient data including patient vitals, height, weight, BP
- Reconcile patient medication list
- Answer calls related to medical issues and relays those issues to the provider if needed
- Perform in house labs and test
- Attach documents to patient charts
- Cleaning of exam rooms after visits, sterilize medical equipment after use
- Assist during in-office procedures
- Stock Exam Rooms
- Call patients and follow up on orders, labs, etc.
- Perform Spirometry test
- Perform EKG test
- Uroflow
- In-Office Surgical Procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Ability to accurately enter data
- Proficient with Windows operating system
- Proficient typing
- Phone operation
- Microsoft office
- Excellent communication
