We are looking for a detail oriented, self-motivated Payment Poster with healthcare/medical payment posting experience. ABA knowledge is a plus, but our training and team mentality allows all those with experience to be considered.

This position is hybrid with three days per week on-site at our Holmdel, NJ office. Operating hours are from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Eastern Time.


Key accountabilities:


  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly posting
  • Review EOB’s and assign outstanding issues to the correct team
  • Work daily with AR team members to review posting errors
  • Identify accounts that require additional review due to incorrect processing from the insurance
  • Move and correct payment posting due to incorrect application of funds by system or insurance company
  • Review organization accounts daily to identify resources, files and EOB’s that require follow up or payment posting
  • Review organizations daily to ensure ERA’s are fully posted
  • Follow up with organizations when payment batches are missing or lacking enough information to full post payments


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years healthcare experience
  • Math and accounting skills are required
  • Healthcare/Medical payment posting
  • Knowledge of manual and electronic payment posting
  • Knowledge of the Central Reach platform is a plus
  • Knowledge of ERA’s, EFT’s, and EOB’s
  • Knowledge of EDI is a plus
  • Knowledge of the revenue cycle
  • Ability to read and interpret EOB’s
  • Knowledge of payment and insurance portals
  • Well organized with multi-tasking skills
  • Task and detail oriented
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to keep up in a fast paced always changing field
