We are seeking a Medical Office Representative who is team-oriented and searching for a rewarding position at a Hematology Oncology practice in Santa Monica, CA.
In this position you will:
- Answer phones promptly. Screen and direct phone calls appropriately. Take accurate and complete messages and forwards messages promptly and accurately.
- Responsible for timely and accurate verification of patient insurance and demographic information and ensures the communication of this information to the appropriate staff.
- Schedule patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete patient check-in & checkout process.
- Scheduling appointments and procedures.
- Complete authorizations as directed by the insurance requirements and the physician/provider.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years experience in medical office
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Epic or similar EMR experience.
