We have 8 physicians in Clyde, Haywood County, NC.

We seek a patient coordinator to work full-time in our reception office. Some early evenings and brief weekend hours required, but are rotated and scheduled well in advance. Primary duties include:

• Greet patients
• Enter and update registration information
• Answer telephones
• Make appointments
• Assist patients in a variety of non-clinical needs

Requirements Professional, caring, and friendly personality essential

• Excellent verbal and written skills including spelling, punctuation, and grammar needed
• Good typing and computer skills required
• Training is provided, but some experience in medical office work and customer service required
• EMR experience is a plus
• Knowledge of health insurance
• Prior Authorization and precertification
• Medical terminology is needed
