Medical Receptionist - Dermatology Job at Mercer Island Dermatology
Mercer Island Dermatology is a physician owned and managed small private dermatology office. Our company commits to a culture of diversity and inclusion. We function as a hard working and fun team, and are seeking a like minded individual. The front office is the first point of contact with patients and can become very busy at times. We are seeking a compassionate and capable individual to welcome patients, coordinate care, and be a reflection of the practice.
Our ideal match would have:
- Medical or dental office experience
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records & Practice Management software systems
- A warm, friendly and helpful attitude
- Proficiency at effective communication and multi-tasking skills
Job responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients and acting as the face of the practice
- Handling busy multiple phone lines to triage appointment requests and questions
- Managing schedule flow, patient intake forms, and bidirectional reminder system
- Collecting patient payments, end of day computer closing and inventory
We would provide a full time employee with option for 32-40 hours, a competitive salary and also a great benefits package with medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays and a matching retirement plan after the probationary period.
Hours of operation: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM to 5 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 3 PM
