- 2nd shift position, Mon-Fri, every 3rd-weekend rotation (four 10-hour days), hours 3pm - 1:30am
- 10% shift differential
- 10% weekend differential
- $5,000 sign-on bonus

In our Laboratory Operations roles,
we offer a variety of work, a diverse, dynamic work environment, and a

Job Duties in Microbiology:
- Urine cultures- read and report out results including identification and susceptibility testing using Vitek 2 and Vitek MS automation
- Stool cultures- including Salmonella/Shigella, Yersinia, Vibrio, and Ecoli 0157 testing.
- Blood Cultures- read and report positive cultures from the Virtuo instrumentation.
- C difficile Toxin/GDH- using QUIK CHEK Complete.
- Parasitology-read and report the concentrate and trichrome for O&P testing.
- RSV, Rapid FLU and Rapidstrep testing.
- Stat gram stains.
Required Education:
Quest Diagnostics works with a variety of backgrounds:
Bachelor’s in medical technology or CLS or MLS with certification (preferred).
Work Experience:
- Entry level.
- Pay based on experience.
- Experience with clinical automation- training available.
- Microscope experience: reading gram stains and parasitology smears/concentrates, training available.
- History of success in working independently but also with a team.
