Description:Certco, Inc. in Sun Prairie is actively seeking a motivated full-time Merchandising Specialist to Provide support for the Woodman’s store by placing orders, stocking, building and maintaining promotional displays, and new item placement. This merchandising position earns $16.50 an hour. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Merchandising Specialist
As a Merchandiser, you play a major role in our profitability as you review, approve, and complete restocking orders using order entry units. You manage the aisles you are in charge of and can take pride in your work. In order to excel in your position, you maintain promotional displays, help with store resets, and keep shelves stocked.
As the first line of contact for our products in the Woodman’s stores, you provide excellent customer service! Customers may reach out to you to resolve issues or ask questions. You also get to participate in our yearly food shows. In accordance with audit guidelines, you maintain all product and supplier deals on an ongoing basis. You establish metrics for important indicators, such as inventory levels. Ensuring profitability for both our clients and ourselves gives you a great sense of accomplishment!
Requirements:General Summary:
Provides support for the Woodman’s stores by placing orders, stocking, building and maintaining promotional displays, new item placement and other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.
Essential Job Functions:

• Complete restocking orders using order entry units.
• Stock shelves with general merchandise.
• Maintain promotional displays.
• New item placement.
• Help in store resets.
• Tear down general merchandise pallets.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of grocery store operations.
• Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, fax and order units.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Provide a high level of energy to the position.
• Ability to stay extremely organized.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills.
