Calling all wizards, centaurs, and muggles alike to enhance the guest participation of the Harry Potter; A Forbidden Forest experience. Set in a nighttime woodland trail, guests will explore the sights, sounds, and special effects that create the magic of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. Additional features of the experience allow guests to be immersed in the Wizarding World, such as, obtaining a personal wand that interacts with magical characters, creating their own spells, and enjoying food and beverages that are well recognized within the village.

We’re looking for a team of individuals who are passionate, hardworking, creative, and energetic to become the guests main point of contact across multiple areas of the experience.

A little more about the role… While the world of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts takes place behind a muggle’s view, we are not requiring you to be an actual character in the world. Your main purpose will be dedicated to your specific position (merchandise, check-in, etc). All that will be required is simple substitution of modern phrases to those that are more in-line with the experience. This also means it won’t be necessary to have a British accent, nor memorize the entire language of the Wizard World. What’s most important is remembering that you represent the experience, so your position is of major importance. Be polite, pleasant, and excited for the world you will represent. Have fun with your characterization!

• Communicate with guests about their experiences, ensuring they enjoyed their time with us

• Coordinate with Leads and management about any concerns or any issues while the guests are checking out

• Restocking all merchandise that is either not desired or returned

• Operating the point of sale registers to check out customers with credit card and/or cash.

• Responsible for maintaining all merchandise on the floor, ensuring shelves remain stocked

• If certain items are out of stock, refilling shelves with comparable items in its place until new stock arrives

• Maintain and sanitize all contact areas while stocking

• Sweeping floors, maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue

• Interacting with customers to ensure they have an amazing experience including asking trivia questions and helping customers take photos around the store.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
• Preferably (not required) ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted; and bend, twist, and kneel with ease
• Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in a fully immersive, in-world experience
• Must be willing to undergo a background check
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States

• Rate: $20/Hr paid weekly
• Training Dates: 10/22/22 - 10/25/22
• Soft Openings: 10/26/22 - 10/28/22

• Open to public: 10/29/22
• Part-Time positions available for the duration of the experience
• Uniform: Provided by partnering agency - Employees are required to keep uniform clean for duration of project
• Must be available for multiple days of training ahead of the experience opening (included in dates above)
• Complimentary catering one hour before each show for all working staff
