Experienced Government Travel Coordinator
1+ year experience supporting Government employees with their Travel coordination to include:
Government Travel Card (GPC) travel coordination services
Experience required reviewing travel vouchers
Experience and knowledgeable in travel policies, regulations, and the Defense Travel System (DTS DTS
Experience in coordinating schedules and activities with the host country Points of Contact (military personnel, and senior scientists).
Experience in E2 SharePoint Travel Assistance Administrative Assistance Office Administration Microsoft OfficeE2 SharePoint Travel Assistance Administrative Assistance Office Administration Microsoft Office
Federal travel regulations Federal travel regulations
Joint travel regulations
Experience in Reviewing and tracking OCONUS travel for all civilian, military, and contractor personnel.
Experience Maintaining daily log for Force Protection Purposes.
Knowledgeable in travel policies, regulations, and the Defense Travel System (DTS).
Revising and updating templates such as personnel TDY/Leave checklists (military/civilian/contractor), standard and restricted Force Protection Plans (FPP) and AFRICOM STOP Document/Manual FPP.
Experience in compiling OCONUS travel/leave reports for the higher HQs
BS degree or applicable years required
DUTIES
Support Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Travel Program
Provide travel coordination services to support the WRAIR Travel Program
Support of the Government Travel Card (GPC) program, recommendations to the Government related to Travel Policies and Procedures.
