Sign On Bonuses Available! Sign on Bonuses will be eligible to full time, permanent employees hired with Polytainers, Inc. $300 will be awarded to new hires after 90 days of continuous employment with an additional $700 awarded after 12 months of continuous employment. Sign on bonuses are taxable and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.

Reporting to Molding Cell Leader and the Shift Supervisor, the primary responsibility of the Packer is to pack molded production parts. Secondary responsibilities include but are not limited to quality inspection of production parts, housekeeping and online sorting as required
When performing the duties of Relief Packer, the primary responsibility is to relieve Packers during breaks and lunches and cover for absenteeism. Other responsibilities include housekeeping, quality inspection of production parts and providing support to the Molding Cell Leader.

Responsibilities and Duties

Pack Product
 Obtain packing supplies from the designated spot at each machine, as per the packaging specification.
 Assemble boxes as required.
 Pack production parts into boxes as per packing specification
 Label the boxes
 Move packed boxes through the tape machine

Inspect Product
 Visually inspect trending tray parts for defects (Packer Reliever)
 Visually inspect for defects
 Escalate to Machine Operator / Cell Leader when observing consistent quality defects or longer machine downtime

Perform Product Control
 Perform line clearance when there is a product change
 Assist Cell Leader with disposition of non-conformance products and sort offline production parts as directed by Cell Leader (Packer Reliever)

Documentation
 Complete line inspection form throughout the shift
 Complete line clearance checklist form during product change
 Update production boards at each machine (Packer Reliever)

Housekeeping
 Ensure the packing area, stacker and surrounding area are clean
 Secure scrap bags
 Weigh and record scrap and dispose scrap products identifying them with suitable scrap sticker (Packer Reliever)

Relieve Packers
 Relieve other Packers for lunches, breaks and cover for absenteeism and unplanned packer allocation
 Perform all the duties stated above when acting as Relief Packer during the shift

 Never compromise safety
 Treat fellow Team Members with honesty, respect and dignity
 Meet standards of conduct
 Adhere to 5S, HACCP, SQF and Health and Safety rules

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

1 to 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Proven ability to deliver results
