Join Seward County! The Seward County Roads Department is accepting applications for a Full-time Motor Grader Operator.
Reporting to the Foreman, the Motor Grader Operator is responsible for operating the motor grader and other heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to ensure the roadways are accessible, safe and in good operating condition. The Motor Grader Operator performs either rough or fine grade finishing, precisely spreading and mixing materials in order to dry and prep roads, construct road surface to precise grade specifications, lay cold mix, and/or shave and rip out old road surfaces.
Starting Wage: $18.63 or more, based on experience
Must possess a Nebraska Drivers License, be at least 19 years old, and pass a pre-employment drug test. Seward County is an EOE Employer, Veteran’s Preference.
