Eaton’s Power Reliability division is currently seeking a MRO Buyer. This role is based out of South Milwaukee. Relocation assistance will be provided.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $62,250 - $91,300 a year.

The MRO Buyer will have responsibility for the releasing and on-time delivery of purchase orders for raw material and production support activities. This role will be responsible for resolving any procurement, quality, invoice and inventory related issue including appropriate SAP transactions. Part consumption behavior and other part characteristic analysis will be a key component for this position. Interface with customer service, internal and external suppliers, Product Engineering, and Production is critical to ensure a high level of support to satisfy the customer.

What you’ll do:
- Provide support in response to requests for maintenance, repair, operations equipment, services, for operations and office
- Review purchase requisitions, place inter-company STO purchases orders, issue change notices, review exception messages to ensure delivery of materials or services as necessary to adhere to production schedules
- Follow up on MRO purchases and ensure information is accurate and up to date
- Review and maintain purchase order date accuracy and maintain MRP health
- Proactively avoid material shortages
- Provide root cause corrective action when needed
- Develop and implement strategies for reducing MRO costs and improving efficiency.
- Work cross functionally to resolve complaints and clear blocks
- Maintain material master records for assigned materials; ensure accurate PIR records, source lists, and promptly reconcile supplier invoices for payment
- Develop and maintain good relations with internal customers
- Participate and lead continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year experience performing Supply Chain related functions in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree program
- Experience performing purchasing functions in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient experience with purchasing and planning using SAP
- Demonstrated capability of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies-Green Belt certification a plus
- Proven experience with quality assurance and reporting accuracy
- Proven knowledge and applications skills with process improvements
