Calling all nannies! Adorable siblings ready for some fun in the sun! This Alexandria family is looking for a loving, energetic, and very hands-on nanny who will engage in interactive play and age-appropriate activities to help their sweet boys learn and grow!

5 year old boy: He is shy when getting to know you and then becomes more outgoing. He is very friendly towards new people and loves it when they engage with him and ask to play. He relates to both peers and adults equally. As long as they are discussing something he likes he does not matter who is playing with him. He is in PK4 and he has thrived at school. He is a very popular little boy and the teacher says all the children go to him first for a partner. He is driven to school. He loves spinach raviolis, tacos, lasagna, and Peruvian chicken. He is very receptive to all food but since his brother is allergic to anything with sesame, the family avoids eating it. He has seasonal allergies and he takes nasal spray and eye drops every morning.

3 year old boy: He tends to be very shy and will then open up once you have gained his trust. He is very tentative of new people. He relates best to his brother, grandparents, and parents but also enjoys his classmates and adults he is familiar with. He is in nursery and will begin PK3 in the fall. The family is working on potty training, verbalizing our feelings, and sharing. He loves fruit, yogurt, and meat. He is deathly allergic to sesame (Anaphylactic)! This includes seeds, oils, hummus, and tahini which cannot be eaten. He typically takes naps from 12:30pm to 2pm. His Epi-Pen must always be with him, and he takes Zyrtec as needed for allergies. He needs reminders to go to the restroom throughout the day, but otherwise has done well with potty training. He is able to verbalize his needs and is working with a speech therapist on his articulation.

Schedule: The family needs the nanny to start as soon as possible. Grandma will be there to train the nanny. The family would love if the nanny had some flexibility to provide additional hours in the afternoons or evening, but this is not a requirement. Payroll. Neither parent works from home. The grandparents might be visiting or staying over while the nanny is there at times. It is not expected that the nanny will need to travel with the family or provide overnight care. The schedule should not change in the summer months. Daily driving will be needed and the family prefers the nanny uses their own vehicle. Weekly gas reimbursement will be provided.

Wishes: The family would like the nanny to provide help with the children’s laundry, general tidying up, meal preparation, and grabbing groceries. Their perfect nanny would be patient, nurturing, proactive, and encouraging. They are looking for someone who is comfortable using an Epi-Pen if needed (training can be provided), and who keeps their children’s safety in mind.
