Naval Surface Warfare Subject Matter Expert (SME) - SECRET Job at AMERICAN SYSTEMS
Are you an experienced Naval Surface Warfare SME with demonstrated experience in shipboard operations and activities while at sea? Then we have an opportunity for you to support the Joint-CONUS Directed Over-the-Horizon (OTH) Radar (J-CONDOR) Joint Feasibility Study (JFS).
The J-CONDOR JFS team will conduct a thorough study to refine and scope a Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) test project involving OTH Radars. The JFS team will assess the feasibility of executing a J-CONDOR test project, refine the Project Master Plan (PMP), and determine required J-CONDOR JT resources. The J-CONDOR JFS team will brief their findings to a Senior Advisory Council who will determine whether J-CONDOR will conduct their project as a 1-year Quick Reaction Test or a 2-year Joint Test.

- Assist in the development of a comprehensive Project Master Plan (PMP) that supports the resolution of the J-CONDOR problem set

A week in the life of a J-CONDOR Naval Surface Warfare SME:
- Identify gaps with regard to maritime operations related to the J-CONDOR problem set
- Identify potential test products to develop to address the identified maritime gaps
- Support the Task Lead in providing required project deliverables for the project to the JFS Director and the JT&E Program Office (JPO)

- Bachelor's Degree with 14 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma with 20 years of relevant experience
- Secret security clearance
- Experience and knowledge with OPLAN development and execution
- Prior Joint Test and Evaluation experience
- Experience in Surface Warfare Advanced Tactics Training (SWATT)
- Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner via verbal presentations, producing written products, or otherwise informing senior stakeholders at the senior executive level
- Experience in air and maritime operations supporting a Combatant Command in a Maritime Operations Center (MOC) and / or Joint Operations Center (JOC) with an understanding of adversary anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) strategies as well as Joint Force concepts and capabilities to mitigate adversary A2/AD
