Objective:

Assist in managing daily operations of the network, to include monitoring security, performing maintenance, and installing hardware, as needed. This position is vital in ensuring our network performs at the highest level of reliability and security.

Safety Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to maneuver into sometimes hard to reach areas (i.e.. under workstations)

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning, implementation, and maintenance of physical and logical network.
• vLan management
• Responsible for monitoring and managing switch and router configurations.
• Daily maintenance and monitoring of the wireless network to support ongoing improvements and overall efficiency.
• VoIP maintenance
• iSCSI Networking documentation and maintenance.
• PKI maintenance
• Create, complete, and organize network documentation.
• Assist with the development and administration of security policies and procedures.
• Respond to service tickets and provide administrative technical support to domain users as issues arise.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• CompTIA Net+ or CCNA certification is required.
• Enterprise Networking experience, to include:
• vLAN administration
• Cisco Switching and Routing
• Backbone and Horizontal Cabling best practices

o Access Control Lists and AAA

o Wireless Networking

o VoIP

o iSCSI networking

§ SQL Administration

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
• Due to the nature of this position, it is a requirement to be able to accurately differentiate between colors.

§ Ability to maintain confidentiality and display professionalism at all times

§ Ability to work after hours and weekends, as needed.

§ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

§ Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems or OT Networking

§ PKI

§ Familiarity with Sonicwall

§ Fiber terminations

§ Apache/IIS Administration
