Qualifications:
 Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer
Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent of a 4-year accredited degree in a
technical discipline
 5+ years of relevant network engineering experience with IP networks
 Must be able to demonstrate the ability to configure, implement and support IP network
infrastructure
 Experience with analysis and capacity planning and recommending network upgrades based on
network trends and network issues
 Experience implementing the network design, testing and building of enterprise networks,
including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), Internet connections,
intranets and other data communications systems for large distributed communications systems
 Experience configuring OSPF, MPLS, ISIS, QoS, BGP, VPLS, AS prepending, route policies, and in-
depth BGP configuration and troubleshooting
 Experience troubleshooting routing with Telecommunications Service Providers
 Experience with Cisco ASR903, ASR99xx routers and Cisco Nexus switches
 Experience with Software Defined Networking technologies
 Experience with leading network vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Fujitsu, Juniper and Palo Alto

 Experience with network programmability protocols such as NETCONF, RESTCONF and gRPC
 Experience with data serialization languages such as JSON, XML and YAML
 Experience automating manual processes and configuration with Python or similar language
 Experience with Linux shell scripting (i.e., bash)
 Experience with IP SLA, SNMP, Netflow and Syslog configuration and troubleshooting
