New Hampshire Licensed Auto Finance Claims Attorney (remote) Job at Goldfein, LLC

Goldfein, LLC Remote

New Hampshire Licensed Attorney Wanted!

Our nationwide law firm specializes on solving problems faced by entities that own or hold liens on motor vehicles, e.g. banks, finance companies and fleet companies. Due to the number of motor vehicles in our clients' portfolios, we are growing rapidly and looking to expand our team.

Experience-wise, there is no “ideal” candidate for this position; we will review all resumes from entry-level to significantly experienced, and we provide complete and comprehensive training once hired. All of our lawyers are full-time employees, and we currently do not establish of-counsel arrangements or co-counsel arrangements. We look for great lawyers in every state and in all sorts of practice areas, including non-traditional. In addition, given our growth, new supervisory and management positions are regularly being created. Note that due to the nightmare that would be conflict checks of outside consumer representation, no outside client representation is permitted.

To attract and keep the best talent, we offer salaries commensurate with experience and a competitive benefits package. We offer what you'd expect a great firm would offer; health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, FSA (depending on your chosen health plan), HSAs (depending on your chosen health plan), life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, and much more! We work in a team environment and pride ourselves on our willingness to help each other in all aspects of our practice.

Primary Needs:

Currently, we are seeking a New Hampshire-based self-starter with meticulous attention to detail, ability to handle deadlines and assertive negotiation and litigation skills. Through negotiation, you will attempt to resolve impound lien, total loss and diminished value disputes with repair shops, impound yards, insurance adjusters and/or opposing counsel. When negotiations fail, you will file of arbitrations or, when necessary, commence litigation and handle all aspects of the lawsuit.

· Timely review new assignments: analyze, interpret, and evaluate all avenues of recovery for clients with a legal/financial interest in high dollar value assets.

· Communicate directly with interested parties, including but not limited to: insurance adjusters, insurance claims supervisors, attorneys, body shops, tow yards, and clients by telephone and through written correspondence, including client memos.

· Negotiate and settle claims within discretionary authority; obtain necessary documents and releases from clients, and confirm settlement satisfaction.

· Fully document all activity on the appropriate computer system(s); this includes recording all contacts, investigations, negotiations, and documentary evidence.

· Adhere to the Rules of Professional Conduct
