Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops products or product families.
- Creates models and drawings for new designs in Solidworks.
- Reviews drawings for accuracy and correctness.
- Conduct simulations and establish test procedures.
- Improve cost, quality and performance by applying specialized knowledge of engineering and innovation.
- Manages design/development projects within established guidelines – this includes project charters, milestones, timelines, budgets and reporting.
- Effectively manages and prioritizes multiple concurrent projects.
- Analyzes complicated situations and forms clear action plans based on available information.
- Perform basic engineering calculations such as stress analysis and heat transfer to ensure adequacy of a design.

- Able to function both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and time/resource management skills.
- Must be hands on, this will require time on the shop floor, test lab, and desk.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong computer skills (Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
