Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops products or product families.
• Creates models and drawings for new designs in Solidworks.
• Reviews drawings for accuracy and correctness.
• Conduct simulations and establish test procedures.
• Improve cost, quality and performance by applying specialized knowledge of engineering and innovation.
• Manages design/development projects within established guidelines – this includes project charters, milestones, timelines, budgets and reporting.
• Effectively manages and prioritizes multiple concurrent projects.
• Analyzes complicated situations and forms clear action plans based on available information.
• Perform basic engineering calculations such as stress analysis and heat transfer to ensure adequacy of a design.

• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and time/resource management skills.
• Must be hands on, this will require time on the shop floor, test lab, and desk.
