Area of work is in Belmont, Monroe, Harrison, Noble, Guernsey, and Jefferson County in OHIO. Our Sites move from County to County and must be willing to drive and/or ability to obtain and drive a company vehicle. We do not hire for only one area of work this is Oil and Gas.

The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed throughout, especially in stressful situations. Must be able to multitask operate without direct supervision. The ideal candidate will be able to remain active throughout the entire shift while occasionally being asked to stand for long periods of time, push pull or lift up to 50 lbs. Prioritizing calls while addressing problems and requests and dealing with them according to urgency. Use phone to send crews to the appropriate locations, handle problems or requests and assist in all scheduling matters. Provide field units with the accurate information and training per their position and location. Understand the oil and gas industry while also keeping security in mind on the locations. Ability to work any shift and could get called in at any time for emergencies or internal scheduling issues.

Protects Company property from loss by fire, severe weather, burglary or vandalism. Performs various security duties. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible for making an established range of decisions, escalating to manager when necessary and updating manager on a regular basis. Keeps track of onsite representatives and assures that the field team members are operating to the best of their ability while keeping them trained and up to date.

Position Responsibilities:

Is vigilant and observant while stationed at guard stations. Monitors alarm system, surveillance equipment and radios. Makes required patrols inside and on the perimeter of property. Acts within established procedures to protect personnel and property. Assists in familiarizing new associates with routines and procedures. Maintains records, and makes written reports. Maintains professional appearance. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Daily end of day reports to managers. Maintaining a clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle. Scheduling and assisting in call offs or scheduling for additional locations. Maintaining equipment and equipment rosters to report to the managers. Ensures all field personnel follow company and client SOP and safety procedures. Ensures a safe operation in the field and tracks progress as well as internal issues brought up to the manager. Acts as the voice to the client as a representative in the field, while running all field operations and assisting and working hand in hand with the managers and office personnel.

Selection Criteria:

Proven ability to prepare correspondence, reports and forms using a prescribed format and conforming to proper rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style. Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect or interpret data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Proven experience making sound decisions and using good judgment in day-to-day responsibilities and in emergencies. Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to convey information, verbally and in writing, to internal and external customers as well as team members below you in a clear, accurate, focused and concise manner. Willingness to work any shift as well as be on call for emergency situations or issues within the internal schedule of the company as the sees fit. Requires visual acuity to be observant to conditions and situations necessary to maintain the security of Company premises. Physical capability is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Requires ability to climb steps, reach, bend, kneel and crouch as well as defend one’s self against attack. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds. Must be able to hear auditory alarms and observe closed-circuit security monitors. Required to dress professionally and maintain Company uniforms and industry standard PPE.

Work Setting:
This position works in both inside and outside environmental conditions. Position is required to remain in a continuously stationary position (sitting or standing) for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer, in a vehicle or with other office and security equipment and while on foot patrol.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Oil and Gas/Industry Related: 1+ years (Preferred)
  • Security: 1+ years (Preferred)
  • Management/Supervisor: 1+ years (Preferred)
  • prior personnel and project management experience
  • MS Excel spreadsheet, MS Word, MS TEAMS
  • Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
  • Position related experience
  • Knowledge of backing up and setting single axle trailers: (Strongly Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year
