What do STNA/Nurse Aides do at SND?

· STNA and nurse aides enjoy interacting with the sisters while engaging in the activities of daily living.

· STNA and nurse aides will assist sisters with daily personal care routines such as showers, bathing, personal hygiene, etc.

· Help sisters prepare for and escort them to meals, activities, social programs, and other events.

· Assist sisters with various other daily needs as necessary.

What experience or skills do you need to be a STNA or Nurse Aide?

· No certification required for nurse aide positions

· STNA certification required for STNA positions

· Experience working in a similar capacity in a Senior Living setting is helpful, but not required

· A positive and cheerful disposition and willing to work as a team are a must
