Work Schedule
Duties will be part time and will be comprised of telework responsibilities, though in-person assignments on both the Middletown and Fauquier campuses will be required periodically, as determined by the Director of Health Professions, in conjunction with Nursing Program Leads. Duties will be conducted predominantly during business hours during the work week but may occasionally include evenings or weekends.

Job Description

Position will be responsible for working directly with students and faculty to improve licensure exam success of students in the Nursing Programs at LFCC and to aid in support and retention of students. They will also coordinate standardized testing for health professions programs at the college. This position may work at any LFCC location, including the Middletown and Fauquier campuses, as well as the Vint Hill and Luray sites.

The hiring range for this position is $23.27-$42.50 per hour, however, the actual rate will be commensurate with education and/or experience. The position is part time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.

KSA's/Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Current, unencumbered Virginia Registered Nurse License
  • Knowledge of computer systems and ability to utilize Microsoft office suites, including excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Google tools.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a member of the team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret written and oral instructions effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated experience in the nursing field.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and maintaining student counseling and support services preferred.
  • Experience working with a diverse student population preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience.
  • Evidence of positive working relationships with colleagues, other professionals, and the public.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications
