This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, C. M. Tucker Nursing Care Center Campus, 2200 Harden Street, 2414 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29203.
As the Nursing Assistant I/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) A & B, you will perform varied duties and special assignments in giving personal care to the residents/patients. You will work under supervision and established practices.

Minimum starting salary Nursing Assistant/CNA-A - $23,137
Minimum starting salary Nursing Assistant CNA-B - $24,901
State Requirement: A high school diploma or GED.
Agency Requirement:
CNA-A: High school diploma or GED with no experience. Must possess a SC Nurse Aide Certification for Long Term Care.
CNA-B: High school diploma or GED with (1) year experience. Must possess a SC Nurse Aide Certification for Long Term Care.
Note: If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position. Salary may vary depending on experience.
The position is essential and requires the selected candidate to work during emergencies and hazardous weather conditions.
