We specialize in heavy industrial construction and are seeking a full-time Office Coordinator/Executive Assistant. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills, high moral character, display impeccable attention to detail, and be able to meet tight deadlines in a multifaceted role.

Range of pay is $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Job responsibilities include:

  • Provides general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Exhibits sound judgment with the ability to prioritize and make decisions.
  • Provides direct administrative support to project management and executive staff, including the generation and distribution of memos, letters, and other written documents.
  • Applies administrative writing skills to develop professional and technical proposal documents, presentation materials, and company newsletters.
  • Supports company's construction jobsite leadership staff.
  • Manages/maintains company's electronic file management systems.
  • Manages/procures all items for company's field clothing benefit and annual service awards.
  • Manages/organizes all efforts related to planning company trade shows, career fairs, and meetings.

This hourly position will be a 40+-hour-per-week job, with primary hours Monday through Friday. We offer a very competitive compensation package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k) with match; holiday and vacation pay; and bonus potential. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop, and QuarkXpress desktop publishing program or similar, with the ability to learn and operate other applicable software.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Prior secretarial/administrative experience.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to learn quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service a must.
  • Any relevant experience with marketing highly preferred.
