Job Role: Opentext Exstream Developer
Client Name: Broadridge Financials (Direct Client)
Responsibilities:
- Analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed system functionality by working with internal organizations and/or clients
- Design and implementation of the overall application
- Perform hands-on code development and delivery and ensure that coding standards, patterns and approaches are appropriate, consistent and of high quality
- Develop test data and performs the unit testing ensuring that the programs perform according to program specifications
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience in software implementation lifecycle
- Self-starter, motivated, with strong preference to work in team environment
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
- 5+ years working experience in Opentext (previously known as Exstream)
- 2+ Experience with Perl & Linux Scripting
- 6+ years of experience in software development
- Experience working on Unix/Linux is a plus
- Experience with Perl scripting is a plus
- A solid grasp of a variety of technologies that include Windows Servers & Clients, Active Directory, Microsoft business applications (including O365), Networking, Databases and knowledge of the software industry relating to varying aspects of OpenText solutions.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of enterprise software deployment on-premise and in the cloud
- Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions
- Should have strong communication skills
- Should possess experience working in a team-oriented group
- Experience working in the financial industry is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $80.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
