Our Detroit branch is looking for a new Operational Service Representative to join our Sea Logistics team.

Your Role

The Operational Service Representative ensures that our internal customers’ experience is a positive one every time they engage with the Operational Care Center. Specifically, the Operational Service Representative is part of a team within Operational Care Center (OCC), who are responsible for direct interaction with CCL’s – Customer Care Locations, proactive customer service, problem solving, follow up, interaction with our customer service colleagues.

Your Responsibilities

  • You keep files related to all sea import shipments.
  • Collaborate with employees in all Kuehne + Nagel offices.
  • You always challenge status quo when it comes to process improvement and cost control.
  • Process files while following all procedures.
  • You maintain real-time visibility of our customers’ transactions
  • You monitor, prioritize and balance customer specific needs daily by answering queries and requests through multi channel communication streams.
  • Awareness of and adherence to QSHE (Quality, Safety & Health, Environment, Security & Dangerous Goods) programs
  • Report to Operational Care Manager

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ Months of customer service experience
  • Computer literacy
