Overview:
Bowhead seeks an Operational Sustainment Review Planner to support the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisitions Logistics and Technology (ASA/ALT) contract located in Arlington, VA. The OSR Planner will serve as the primary administrative support for the planning, execution and post OSR tracking for all scheduled OSR. Provide support to the process manager and portfolio manager through a variety of tasks related to scheduling, organizing, tracking, and communicating.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting annual data calls and consolidation of responses, generate, maintains and monitors OSR master action item list and ensure coordination and tracking with key stakeholders, organizes and schedules all OSR meetings, maintains OSR timelines and stakeholder contact list, attends OSR meetings to record minutes and maintains master OSR briefing template.
  • Serve as the POC for managing and controlling all staff actions and as such must have experience in a Defense Acquisition workforce program.
  • Schedule all meetings associated with the OSR (Season Brief, Kick-Off, IPRs, OSR, and other OSR related meetings identified by the Focal Point Lead)
  • Attend weekly coordination meetings with the OSR Focal Point Lead to plan out future weeks
  • Attend all meetings pertaining to the OSR and keep a detailed record of meeting minutes
  • Collect all required documentation in support of the OSR and provide required files to associated program teams for comment or consideration based on the OSR timeline.
  • Develop a master item tracker listing for all activities, updated at the end of every working day to capture any new items that have occurred.
Qualifications:
In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, candidates should be aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire.

  • Minimum of three to five (3-5+) years of relevant experience is required.
  • BA/BS in related field is highly preferred.
  • Experienced in in acquisition policies and processes in order to advise and assist with strategic and long-range planning and business analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated skills in prioritization and multi-tasking.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
