Job Overview: The position is responsible for monitoring Community trust and fee land for ordinance, code, nuisance, and trespass issues. Works on behalf of SMSC as a liaison between Land, Public Works, Legal and Public Safety departments with Community Members, cities, townships, county, and private parties to ensure compliance and to resolve issues. Job Requirements:

Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectations of this job:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 5 + years’ experience with code compliance, facility/property management, property security or a closely related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid Class D driver’s license required with a good driving record.
  • Experience with and understanding of Tribal Communities (preferred).
