What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Responsibilities)

As the Operations Manager, you’ll manage 3-5 crews performing landscape maintenance and enhancements and work closely with the account representatives to ensure the client expectations are exceeded. Your goal is to hire, train, lead, and retain the very best field crews and ensure they perform their work with quality and efficiency.

Duties include:

• Hiring and managing field employees

• Maintaining schedules, routing, and planning work

• Working closely with Account Management team

• Working directly with clients

Working Conditions: You will be working outside most of the days, driving around visiting your crews as well as looking at sites the day before your crews will be there to asses needs. You will work at a desk an hour or two a day doing paperwork like hiring and timesheets, as well as submitting expenses and receipts, and attending weekly branch meetings.

Qualifications You’ll Need

• At least 3 years of relevant experience (preferred)

• Bilingual (preferred)

• Crystal clear communication, written and verbal

• Positive and professional attitude

• Sense of humor—make us laugh or laugh along with us!

• Passion for serving your customers

• Knowledge of plant material, diseases, insects, chemicals, spray, and irrigation

• Proficiency with all landscape equipment

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
