Full Job Description: We are searching for a skilled Optical technician that is not afraid to think outside the box. The position will primarily consist of working directly with patients to fit and adjust new glasses, assist with contact lens trainings, and answer any patient questions regarding fit, use, and care of their glasses and insurance. Our ideal candidate has prior experience in an optical environment, coupled with outstanding customer service and multitasking skills.

We are seeking an energetic, experienced individual to join our company as an Optician. You deliver top-level customer service to every patient, from initial questions and try-ons to final fitting and adjustments. Need we say more? Nope! It’s all here. Come join our vibrant team!

Optician Requirements and Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical and optical terminology
• Prior experience in an optical environment (strongly preferred)
• Adjust new frames and eyewear to create the perfect fit for every patient
• Set aside frames for customers to revisit on subsequent visits
• Track customer information in our secure database
• Make adjustments and clean frames for returning customers
• Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
• Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in and phone customers
• each experience on a positive and helpful note
• Computer proficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
